About.
I started my love affair with music at the age of 4, sharing my bed every night with a small blue and white plastic guitar - wherever I went so did the guitar, and not much has changed since! At 13 I did my first studio session, playing lead guitar for established electric Folk band, ‘Charlie Crow’, in my home town of Sheffield, UK. In a lifetime filled with music I’ve played as a session musician, toured both in the UK and abroad in large/small venues, festivals, appeared on radio, T.V, and several albums and singles, including my own. I’ve supported such artists as SAM BROWN ( Pink Floyd/Jules Holland), SONJA KRISTINA ( Curved Air), WILLY PORTER, KING KURT, EZIO.
Late 2022 saw the launch of my new project, ’Guitar Soundscape’ . My idea to 'blend' music and visuals as an ' extension of emotions'. Please take a peek at my YouTube Channel at :-

As for 2023, I will be concentrating on expanding the ‘live’ sound and , ultimately, trying to produce a 'live' music and visual 'experience'.
Below are a few ' live' reviews from my first couple of 'Guitar Soundscape' solo 'outings' :-
Solo Reviews:-
Neil, just a huge thank you ,for playing our birthday bash .
You blew everyone away with your amazing set. I always knew you were very good, I didn’t know you were that good.Mate, you are a legend and Thank you so much,
John Forster
Now look, getting to witness a musician like Neil playing his first solo show in this format, bare foot, and to a crowd at a packed out pub, is one thing... the crowd (including us) were absolutely blown away, elevated, and swept off to space, throughout Neil's set. This has become a real highlight for us as a band, something we didn't stop talking about the whole way home on Sunday... but then we had to follow this act with our own headline set!
Neil was absolutely incredible, sharing a stage with such talent was an honour

“ A nice track to round off the show with tonight. This track is a super special one to him, he says “ This is a solo instrumental track that I wrote for my son , Alfie.” This is just wonderful. Clapton - esque guitar solos, a really sweet story behind it as well. This is a lovely thing. It’s called ‘Hi Alf’, by Neil Bailey.
Real nice track isn’t it ? Sweet story behind the creation of it to, written for his son, Alfie………..What a lovely thing to do for your son……No one’s ever written me a song !!

Greetings Neil 🙂 Yesterday was a crazy blur, so I didn't get a chance to watch the vid BUT I watched it this morning and it totally gave me goosebumps! SO awesome. The visuals in the video were thoughtful & poignant and you made your guitar sing, so haunting & beautiful. Very impressed! ❤

I am moved to tears right now. For the last several years, I have devoted my time & energy to supporting & promoting independent artists from all over the world, and several of them have become close, treasured friends. Neil Bailey is one of those treasures. Neil is an AMAZING guitarist based in England. Neil is a longtime musician & has played with many high-profile UK bands throughout his career & recently, after an unexpected injury, Neil has returned to his solo project - Guitar Soundscapes. Neil just wrote a song for me called Colorado Sunset - it's emotive & beautiful & truly captures the essence of a Colorado Sunset. I love you Neil - thank you so much for this amazing gift.
